DyeVL technology specifically targets the melanin in pigmented lesions, and the hemoglobin in vascular lesions (sun spots and age spots) using a system of selective photothermolysis.

Our incredible laser technology system emits short bursts of light to break down the unwanted accumulation of pigment that can cause splotches and uneven skin tone.

In the case of vascular lesions, the laser energy is absorbed by the hemoglobin and this results in the abnormal vessels being closed off causing the significant reduction in the appearance of the veins or blood vessels.

During the treatment process the target area can get warm, but we have a cooled hand piece, so when it gets warm, we run the cooled tip for a bit to cool the area down and maintain patient comfort. Most clients can tolerate this treatment without topical anesthetic, but it’s an available option for patients with more sensitive skin (or treatment areas) who want to avoid the feeling of a “hot pinch” or a “snapping” feeling. We can discuss it in your initial consultation and provdie the option for the skin to be numbed 30-45 min before treatment with the application of a topical anesthetic.
